This blog is in its last year of being a toddler. It seems crazy I started out on this writing adventure 3 years ago.

In that time span I have written over 150 posts, churning them out on a nearly weekly basis, with over 35,000 views in the time frame. Not earth shattering numbers, but not too bad for a blog about a pretty rare profession in an even rarer career field.

From my humble first post sitting in the office of our West Texas home, not knowing if I ever would get an invite to join, this blog was started and meant to be trail of bread crumbs for fellow providers interested in pursuing a similar path. I am pleased to say that 3 years later, I think we are continuing to fulfill that role, and I continue to get kind messages from hopefuls and new hires.

The site remains a top google hit if looking up medical providers, and I continue to receive questions from prospective hires on a monthly basis. Easily my favorite thing that has happened multiple times since starting this blog, is getting to interact with readers that are now colleagues. I can’t thank everyone enough that has reached out to me after finding this site, as all of this writing continues to be a labor of love. Thank you all for reading and please keep the questions coming, I am always happy to answer them to the best of my ability.

Here’s to year 4 of blogging. Cheers! -Nick
